Saturday Contemporary Painting workshop (10 to 4)
A full-day workshop exploring Contemporary Landscape Painting. Following our visit to Diebenkorn's exhibition at the RA, we have been developing this abstract style of landscape painting. After your lunch (please bring a pack lunch, coffee and tea provided throughout), we will look at developing futher your understanding of colour relationships in particular exploring simultaneous colour contrast ant tonal reductions.

These fortnightly Monday classes will help you develop a distinctive creative approach to watercolour with none of the usual 'wishy-washy' results normally associated with this technique.
Exploring unusual colour & watercolour painting techniques we explore the outdoors with washes, resists, texturing and markmaking.

With the proliferation of tablets, we all can undertake our painting whereever we are, working with the multiple software available, and produce unusual artwork in a painterly manner but in a digital format.
